Assistant Project Manager – Construction / Real Estate Sector

Engineering, Surveying, Architecture or Construction / Site Management experience essential.

Office based – South side of the City – With flexible days for remote work (subject to business needs)

We are recruiting an assistant Project Manager for a client of ours based in South Dublin. As an organisation our client are leaders in what they do, they consistently deliver for their clients and have a reputation for doing so. As individuals the Directors of the organisation are extremely well networked.

From our meetings with them over the past number of years we can sense the energy and positive working dynamic in the office. In our dealings with the directors we have found them to very positive individuals, they speak highly of their team and seem to genuinely like what they do for a living.

Client wise, as an organisation their work is well spread over a number of industry sectors which allows them to offer staff exposure to different spaces within the Property and Construction Industry.

This role will be working alongside a senior member of the management team who is currently acting as Project Director on one of the largest projects in Dublin, but also involved in early stage negotiations on several other projects.

What are they looking for in a candidate?

  • A qualification in a construction related discipline, Civil, Structural, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management or Surveying.
  • A minimum of 12 months to 4 years’ post grad experience working in a role ideally with exposure to the pre and post contract aspects of construction projects.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • A willingness to work hard, take direction, learn and develop a career in project management.
  • Understand what the responsibilities of the various parties to a Property Development project.
  • Exposure to large scale projects.
